Nice for the money

I bought one of these because I had a slab leak and need to figure out what direction it was coming from. The meter, seems pretty accurate, though, I have nothing else to compare it to. The tool is rather easy to use and even has a battery tester on it to test the power of a 9V. I would recommend this product for someone who is looking for an inexpensive moisture meter. It works well on dry wall and wood. The prongs can be a bit difficult to get into wood, but that is usually a sign that the wood is dry. It served its purpose and helped me find where the leak was coming from. I also lent it to a friend at work who used it to test whether or not he had a leak...It may not have a fancy lcd display, but you really no not need one in this case.

great price. works well. BUT... the probe is problematic. The probe breaks very easily at the prongs. The solder joint inside the probe breaks under pressure and ruins the continuity ot the prong to the unit, thus rendering it useless. Sonin does offer a replacement probe for it however for about $5.00. Sonin ships very quickly and responds to your email quickly also. This unit is a real bargin for its price, much cheaper than its counterparts. Just be prepared to replace the probe. If the probe problem was fixed this unit would be an excellent value.

Gardena 31979-6 Aquazoom 350/T Oscillating Sprinkler

This innovative oscillating sprinkler design can water medium-to-large yards, is fully adjustable, and comes with a built-in timer and flow control mechanisms. Cool Sprinkler

Good product, works excellent, great features. Two simple levers (one for the left, one for the right) adjust the angles of the individual nozzles which adjusts the fan width. It's cool the way it's done. Timer is easy to set and works well. The base is really flimsy though and I am concerned about the plastic holding up with time. If it's a good quality material and no one steps on it, it could last 5 to 10 years, if it's cheep... well I may have to replace it next year. Time will tell.

This is SO WORTH IT!!!

This sprinkler is GREAT. I've been using it for th last 3 weeks to fight the drought and save my ornamental gardens. The controls work smoothly and it is incredibly easy to direct the spray where you need it. I've owned a Nelson sprinkler which has similar ability to control the sprinkling pattern but it is much cruder and more difficult to adjust. This is one product that is worth the money -- and I don't spend money lightly.

Nearly exact control of watering area

I am a professional landscaper, and I first came upon this product at a client's home where there is no inground sprinkler system. I was very impressed with the features and found it always operated accurately. I have used my Aquazoom sprinkler several times since I received it. The flow rate and width of the spray are easily adjusted without trips back and forth to the faucet and drenchings while trying to move it, and the timer feature works perfectly. I highly recommend this product.

bay cross construction

The quality of the batteries is excellent. The batteries last quite a while and stay charged for a while as well. The shipping time turn around is also a help. Also gotta love the free shipping.

DeWalt 18V Batteries

My old batteries had finally died and I was going to send them to an Ebay seller who replaces insides but Amazon.com had this deal that was about the same price for new upgraded batteries. How could I go wrong?

Dissappointed

The ad was too good to be true, longer run time. I have four eighteen volt drills, two saws and flash lights, and a countless number of batteries. I'm always charging batteries and the new ones I bought don't last any longer then the others. I did need new batteries anyway but the hype about them lasting longer is bull.

A great keychain tool, I use mine nearly every day

I read some place that the difference between a man and an animal is that humans use tools. The proliferation of multi-tools like the micra may be proof of that theory. I have mine hooked to my car keys and use it just about every day. Just this morning, I snipped a plastic wrapper on a package of cashews with the scissors and yesterday I filed a chipped fingernail that was catching on just about everything.

The size, weight and shape are just right and encourage you to carry it every day. Caution - You can't carry it on a plane so remember to leave it at home or pack it in your checked bags. If you don't, the guards will take it. Also, recently, I was stopped at the door of the Meadowslands arena by a security guard and was told that I had to put mine in the car if I wanted to enter. That's me, armed and dangerous with a nail file! The only complaint is the tweezer - mine is just about useless. The jaws do not meet evenly and the fact that the tweezer will not come off the tool make it a zero in my book. Hence a 4 out of 5 stars. Perhaps, maybe mine is unusual? All in all, this is neat gadget and for twenty bucks, a bargain to boot.

Awesome little Leatherman

I bought a Micra bundled with the New Wave. This little Leatherman is built very solid and it packs a lot of useful tools. I'm using it as a keychain and its size is adequate for this purpose. Very good job Leatherman!

Compact, practical & sturdy

I've owned and used a Micra for several years now. This small tool has proven itself over and over. Its perfect compact size allows you to carry it in even the smallest pockets or use it as a keychain.

The scissors are the primary tool and they are tougher than they look. I've owned several Victorinox pocket knives (one for almost 20 years) and the scissors have always failed. The scissors on these models (at least the ones I've owned) are serrated while the Micra's are not. If you're looking for a clean cut edge the Micra is the better choice.

The other tools on the Micra - screwdrivers, tweezers, small blade, bottle opener, etc. - are all very good for their intended use. About the only complaint I have is that the measuring marks on the outside shell aren't more clear. Still, it's likely that most people won't use the Micra for this purpose.
